Loretta Swit (Passaic, New Jersey, 4 november 1937) is een Amerikaans actrice. Ze werd vooral bekend door haar rol als Majoor Margaret Houlihan alias Hot Lips in de televisieserie M*A*S*H.^[1] Swit is in deze serie in 240 van de in totaal 251 afleveringen te zien.

Swit was van 1983 tot 1995 getrouwd met Dennis Holahan.^[2]

Trivia

Er wordt gezegd dat Jim Henson inspiratie putte uit haar rol als Hot Lips voor "Miss Piggy" uit The Muppet Show, waar ze regelmatig te gast was.^[3]
