Jacques Demy

Jacques Demy (francuski izgovor: [dəmi]; 5. jun 1931 – 27. oktobar 1990) bio je francuski filmski režiser, poznat kao jedan od predstavnika Novog vala, među kojima se isticao specifičnim stilom, temama i žanrovskim preokupacijama koje su najviše došle do izražaja kod izuzetno popularnih mjuzikala kao što su Šerburski kišobrani i Les Demoiselles de Rochefort.

Demy je bio u braku u poznatom sineasticom Agnes Varda. Umro je od AIDS-a.
