Leo VI, yang disebut si Bijak atau sang Filsuf (bahasa Yunani: Λέων ΣΤ΄ ὁ Σοφός, Leōn VI ho Sophos, 19 September 866 – 11 Mei 912) adalah Kaisar Bizantium dari 886 sampai 912. Penguasa kedua dari dinasti Makedonia (meskipun orangtuanya tak jelas), pada masa pemerintahannya, kebangkitan melek huruf, yang dimulai oleh pendahulunya Basil I, berlanjut; selain Kekaisaran juga menghadapi beberapa kekalahan militer di Balkan melawan Bulgaria dan melawan Arab di Sisilia dan Aegea. Masa pemerintahannya juga diwarnai pembubaran resmi dari beberapa lembaga Romawi kuno, seperti konsul dan Senat Romawi (dalam periode yang juga dikenal sebagai Senat Bizantium), yang hanya berlanjut dengan pencantuman namanya saja dan kehilangan kebanyakan fungsi dan kekuasaan asli mereka.
