Maihar is one of the 230 Vidhan Sabha (Legislative Assembly) constituencies of Madhya Pradesh state in central India. This constituency came into existence in 1951.[1][2] It is one of the 7 Vidhan Sabha constituencies located in Satna district.[3] The constituency is part of Satna Lok Sabha constituency.[3] As of 2023, its representative is Srikant Chaturvedi of the Bharatiya Janata Party.[4]
