Coltano is a village in Tuscany, central Italy, administratively a frazione of the comune of Pisa, province of Pisa. At the time of the 2001 census its population was 125.[2]

Coltano is about 12 km from the city of Pisa.

Coltano was also the place of the first Marconi wireless intercontinental station of Italy officially opened in the 1911.
